CBM completed a new residential development on Charles Street in Barnes for County Gate properties.
The scheme involved constructing three two-bedroom terraced houses, two two-bedroom duplex units and a two-storey commercial unit.
Working in a challenging location, we carried out extensive temporary works with raking shores and scaffolding to secure adjoining buildings during the construction process.
At the other end of the site we installed sheet piling and ground force props to retain adjacent buildings and a public highway while we carried out work on a new basement.
We constructed a large new basement with reinforced concrete on a tight infill site.
The properties were built to sustainability code level 4 and included PV arrays, smart metering and air tight construction.
